We are the Whisper Theatre Collective, and we focus on creating physical, experimental, original theatre. We have been training and performing together since 2019, having first met in a LeCoq-based MFA. Our work stems from the body first, focusing on the poetic, grotesque, and abstract embodiment of themes that are tucked in the underbelly of our daily lives. We enjoy mixing old and new forms and styles of theater to create subversive, visceral, and introspective productions.

Our long-term goal as a collective is to foster community amongst the artists in the physical theatre and devised theatre scenes in Chicago, cultivating a place of resources for us to support each other and thrive.
